J.A. and Pam Richards were approved as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to Wales in May 1988.  J.A. is a 1988 graduate of the mission course of Baptist Bible College, and Pam completed the concentrated mission course at BBC in 1988. They served their internship at the Meadowview Baptist Church in Republic, Missouri, where J.A. was ordained in 1988.

They arrived in Wales in Sept. 1989. They have served in North Wales for 12 1/2 years and are currently working with two churches in and near , Cardiff, the capitol of Wales.
